Thank you for visiting my page.  Will you consider joining me in supporting a wonderful cause to help the shelter dogs and cats in Suffolk find their forever homes?  The Suffolk Humane Society (SHS) is dedicated to finding homes for the many animals at Suffolk Animal Control and we have a goal of ending euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.  But, we need YOUR help to accomplish this!! 

   How can you help?  Here are some options:

1) You can sponsor me by clicking on the "Sponsor me now" link below.  (If you prefer to contribute by cash or check, just email me at ljvetter1@verizon.net and we can set that up.) 

2) You  can sign up for the event and join in the fun!!  You can be a "Mutt Strutter" even if you don't have a dog or are not able to bring your furbaby to the event.  Just click on the "I want a page like this" above to register.  Registration cost is just $15 (you get a T-shirt, doggie bag, and are eligible for prizes) and we are asking each participant to pledge to raise at least $50.00.  (The Mutt Strutt itself is 1/2 mile - just long enough to show off our furry kids but not too long to get tired out.)

3) Even if you are not able to contribute  finanacially, come on out to the event and just enjoy the wonderful family fun.  There will be vendors, canine demonstrations, doggie contests, and BEST OF ALL - - - - - there will be a whole bunch of rescue groups with adoptable animals!!!  If you're looking to add some unconditional love and a whole bunch of wet kisses to your home, come on out and find your purrfect match.
