my personal spiel: hello! this is my 4th year walking for farm sanctuary, and i'm going to try to raise the bar again. thanks to some extremely generous donations, during my first year i raised $250, during my second year i raised $525, and last year i raised $800!! farm sanctuary is an extremely worthy cause, and i'd like to see if i can hit $1000 this year. i was just bowled over by the support i got last year, and i think this year's walk will be even bigger and better!
remember, any pledge of $20 or more entitles you to a year's membership at farm sanctuary, including a newsletter subscription--what a nice way to see your dollars at work. :) i'm told that $50 pays for the care and feeding of an abused hen for five months... the upshot is, a little goes a LONG way!
