I'm running my first race to kick Cystic Fibrosis!
My name is Zackary Bystrom and I am 3 years old. My mommy has run lots of races and now it is my turn! I will be running a 1-Mile race on September 19th in support of Cystic Fibrosis research.
I was born with Bilateral Clubfeet, a congenital deformity that turned my feet inward at the ankles. Through serial casting, a Tenotomy, and wearing special shoes for 3 years, my feet are now flat and look just like every one else’s!
I am thankful to have been born with a ‘fixable’ condition, but children born with Cystic Fibrosis are not so lucky. But through YOUR help, we can find out what is causing this disease and make this a ‘fixable’ condition too!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
