Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, three years ago I went through a life changing event.  I was diagnosed with a tumor in my spinal cord.  The outcome, possibly never walking again or even death. After major spinal cord neurosurgery I underwent extensive occupational and physical rehab to re-learn day to day tasks such as eating, dressing and walking.  Throughout my recovery I continued to coach my dance team and develop a huge passion for physical therapy.

During my recovery I began to research organizations that combined both my passion for dance and therapy.  I then found this incredible organization that did just that!  I have organized this event to include dance teams across Washington.  Together we will join forces to raise money for Dreas Dream.  The goal, to eventually open a therapy center in a school or hospital in Washington State.

You may also support Dreas Dream by attending our celebration event on Friday, August 24th hosted by the Lake Washington Dance Team.  All participating schools will come together and perform on our football field celebrating the success of this fundraiser. 

As the coach of Lake Washington Dance, I feel strongly that it is important for our dancers to come together to raise money outside of themselves.
