As we compete alongside the Special Olympics Athletes in succeeding in pulling a 727 (something we all thought was impossible before our first plane pull event in 2004) we reflect on how empowering that makes us feel, and how valuable it is to be a part of an event that creates more equally rewarding opportunities year-round for all Special Olympic Athletes.
