18 years is a long time for almost anything, but not long enough yet for us to rid ourselves of breast cancer. I've been doing the MBCC Against the Tide swim for 18 years, and will "just keep swimmin' " until we succeed in preventing breast cancer from happening!

My 13 year old son Robert will be joining me again this year  as he participates in the 3 mile run, and after we may both jump in a kayak and give that a whirl. No matter what, its a great day, for a great cause.

I appreciate everyone's support over the years. Together, I know we can help make this all go away. And together, we can keep me as the ONLY female in my family not to have had breast cancer. Its one of the few times as an athlete that a "did not compete" is an acceptable record to hold!
