This is my first marathon and I am very excited about it.  I could not think of a more important charity to run for.  Working in the child development field, being a specialized foster mom, and having volunteered for Horizon's years ago have shaped my life.  These children deserve a chance.  Every dollar you donate means the world to me, and to the millions of children out there with no homes.  Too often we take life for granted and are caught up in what classes our children are signed up for,what summer camp they will go to, and if they will wear designer clothes.  These children simply want a roof over their heads, clean clothes and warm food to eat.  Your donation can help them achieve this.
