HIS LEGACY LIVES ON ...
John's legacy lives on with every dollar donated to Peyton's Promise. We will continue this mission in honor of John and his strong belief that everyone deserves a chance to have a family. Make Peyton's Promise your charity of choice each year.
Baby MASON • Idaho
A newly married couple in their mid-twenties found out early on that they were unable to have children of their own. Blake and Whitney began the adoption process right away and were overjoyed when a birthmother chose them. Unfortunately the adoption costs exceeded their financial capabilities and they could not bring the baby home. Peyton's Promise came through and now baby mason has a Forever Family.
Baby JOSIAH • North Carolina
Over the past four years, Phil and Debi had been through seven failed adoptions. They've brought babies home only to have the birthmothers take the babies back. Unfortunately they didn't receive any reimbursement for adoption costs already put forth. When they learned about baby Josiah they were thrilled to finally be able to bring him home but lacked funding. Peyton's Promise was able to help them finalize the adoption and create a Forever Family.
Baby HANNAH • Florida
Crystal and Nick wanted a baby for years. After finding out they were unable to have a child of their own, they met a birth mother and followed her through the pregnancy attending the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Lacking funds to complete the adoption process kept them from bringing the baby home. The funding provided by Peyton's Promise allowed them to complete the adoption and create a Forever Family for baby Hannah.
ROGER & LISA'S STORY
Dylan was born without a hitch. We began trying for a second child when he was two. After five years of infertility ending with five rounds of in-vitro and two miscarriages, we decided to adopt.
OUR BLESSING
After going through the lengthy process and being put in the book, we received a phone call about a baby girl born and the birth mother had chosen our family for placement. We suddenly had a new baby girl and couldn't have been more thrilled. Three years later we had another surprise; baby Greyson was born.
PEYTON'S PROMISE
Roger and I wanted to give back. We quickly realized how expensive adoption could be and knew not all families could afford the costs. Ultimately it's about the children. We wanted to help them. That's why Peyton's Promise was started.
IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER
The recent grants funded by Peyton's Promise were ultimately a gift from my father. He passed away after a five-year battle with stage-4 lung cancer on March 14, 2012. Your funds came from donations in his memory. He was a well-loved man who meant the world to so many.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Spread the word about Peyton's Promise and encourage others to donate to the cause. All monies received go directly to the cause.
Thank you,
Roger & Lisa Saline

Peyton's Promise Helps Complete TWO Adoptions
BRIDGES A 'FOREVER FAMILY'
The Saline Family and Dance Xtreme USA (DX) are thrilled to announce that Peyton's Promise has completed its second adoption as of February 2012. Due to the generosity of many individuals and DX's donation from the AmeriCup Championship, Peyton's Promise helped make a second family's dream come true.
Peyton's Promise was designed to help bridge forever families. The first bridge was built in 2011 for a family from Oregon. Baby Nathan was the first baby Peyton's Promise helped. Mike and Theresa longed for a baby for years. After many years dealing with infertility issues, they decided adoption was the next step. Once in the process, they found baby Nathan but ran out of funds to bring him home. Peyton's Promise helped them become a forever family.
Baby Hannah's adoption from Florida to Nick and Crystal was finalized this past February due to the help of Peyton's Promise. Thank you to all who donated to the cause and helped create the second bridge.
Some ask, "Why call it a forever family?". When Peyton was two years old, she asked Roger and me if she could ever be taken away. We told her no and came up with a saying we still say every night at bedtime. "We're a forever family and no one can take us apart ever, ever, ever!." We want another child to have that same sense of security, love and support.
DX (formerly UPA) launched Peyton's Promise to help raise funds and awareness for adoption. The program is set-up so that 100 percent of check donations go towards an adoption. A small service fee is taken with online donations. Lisa Saline, DX President, and her husband Roger developed the program after adopting a baby girl in 2002 and quickly finding out how expensive the adoption process can be.
Many friends and family of the Saline's contributed to the fund. At the 2011 & 2012 AmeriCup Nationals in Minneapolis, DX donated $1 from every athlete package to the cause. Donations were also received from competitors and fans as well.
DX is continuing fundraising efforts at upcoming events to help bridge a third family. Every $1 helps bring one family closer to bringing a child home. DX is thankful for the generous support from media outlets around the country. The exposure has been fantastic and the word is getting out about DX's mission. Please join us in our efforts.
