The WWFR, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization under SOS Support our Shelters , is committed to informing and educating the public of the pleasures and responsibilities of owning domestic ferrets as well as how to provide proper care for these creatures. The WWFR provides placement assistance or sanctuary/hospice care for unwanted, abandoned, abused owner surrenders and California confiscated ferrets through WWFR associated shelters, rescues and foster homes.
We are fundraising in order to provide for shelter operating costs and be able to continue our rescue efforts in our area as well as to provide a high level of rehabilitation and medical care for the tiny souls entrusted to us.
