2nd Annual John F. Tighe Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis

John F. Tighe, Sr. passed away from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis on December 21, 2010. He left behind his wife of 49 years, Sharon, who was the love of his life, as well as four children and eleven grandchildren. His family was the most important thing in his life and he is greatly missed by the entire family. John touched all who were blessed to have had him in their lives. He was known for his kindness, generosity, unselfishness and for his belief in "paying it forward”, by always helping those who needed it the most.

In addition to being a family man and philanthropist, he was a passionate about business and served as President and CEO of Tighe Logistics Group. Known as a hard-working and down-to-earth leader, he was active in many trade associations, in which his insight, industry knowledge and business acumen were highly regarded.

The John F. Tighe Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis has been established to help raise awareness, funds and to ultimately find a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
