Thank you for visiting J n J's (Jeremy n Jordan's) fundraising page! So far we have raised $3,336.82, in our one and two weekend sales, our third Sunday sale and on-line donations. We will be donating 100% of the profits we raise from the Lemonade Stand we have recently built, (with lots of assistance from our mom, grandpa and our wonderful and very patient handyman Steve), to The Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation to purchase a Fun Center, a mobile entertainment unit which entertains seriously ill children while they are in the hospital. Our goal is to keep this community oriented, so we hope to raise enough money to donate to Ventura Hospital's Pediatric Ward, which needs two at the present time. Each Fun Center is $4,250.00. We have included links here to show you what The Fun Center is and how it helps sick children during their hospital visits!!! Our grandpa who will be 80 years old soon, not in the best of health, came all the way from Norfolk, Virginia to California to make the Lemonade Stand he designed for us. There was lots of help from the wonderful people at Home Depot in Virginia as well. We have the support from the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, Thousand Oaks, Home Depot (one of the Managers) was the person responsible for giving us all the supplies needed to build this. As mentioned, our fabulous handyman Steve, donated ALL his time to build this with us and boy it wasn't an easy task!!!! Our electrician Alan Almar always helps, by making sure we are dealing properly with electricity and wires. Our wonderful "Grandelle" came all the way from Florida to help us out. She purchased the Popcorn and Hot Dog carts along with the generousity of Bed, Bath and Beyond. Dunn Edwards, donated all the paint, Costco, Von's, and Albertson's are all helping us out. Signarama of Thousand Oaks helped design and print a fabulous banner. We are grateful to all our sponsors. Anyone else who comes aboard to support this wonderful cause we would be happy to use your name/logo as a sponsor as well or just by giving us a large donation to help us with our goal!!! We will be selling lemonade, hot dogs, popcorn, water, coke, diet coke and delicious homemade brownies and chocolate chip cookies during the time we will be raising the money towards the purchase of The Fun Center.
