Hi Everyone! My name is Delihant.

I was stuck in the shelter for a month while the nice humans looked for the person that hurt my eye. I got lots of visitors. It really stunk being in a cage for so long, but now I'm in a foster home. It's great.

When I was in the shelter, everyone kept saying how sad I was. Some would shake their heads and wonder out loud how something like that could happen. Poor Delihant they would say. But I have to disagree. It's not sad that someone burned my eyeball....The way I see it, I still have one good eye left! It's not sad that I was living in a cage! I got out and some of my really good friends didn't make it out. Some are still there and some got put to sleep. Only I don't think they will ever wake up. I waited for my best friend to come back after they took him away...he never did. They said he went to the Rainbow Bridge. I think that's worse, cause they won't ever know love. Or how a scratch behind the ear feels. Or what a really yummy bone tastes like. They died thinking all humans were mean. Or that living in a cage was the only way it was.

But not me...Karma Rescue made sure that didn't happen. And now they are helping me find a forever home. Maybe I could come live with you!
