Cassie was rescued from a shelter and went into a home for foster. Cassie lived there for 7 months before something very unfortunate happened. There was a dog fight and two dogs were hurt badly. Although no one saw the fight, and although Cassie had zero bite wounds on her, she was blamed and placed back in the shelter. Cassie at the shelter was so terrified. She would sit in a back corner just trembling. The poor girl would only sleep sitting up, if at all because she was so scared. She had no idea why she wound up at such a horrible place. Because the person who brought her in labeled her aggressive she will not be given a chance to be adopted by the public, nor temperament tested so that a rescue may take her. She is doomed. Cassie has been to our adoptions, we have never seen any aggression in her, only kindness and sweetness. Cassie can be safe, she has a chance. We have to raise $1000 to get her into training and one month boarding, and Karma will be able to take her into the family.
