A very special thanks to C and I, because of their night time adventure, these boys were saved....

It all began with the search for a lost dog. Karma dissappeared close to a "not so nice" neighborhood. We first searched for her in the immediate area and then drove around looking. It was about midnite that we ended up in a bad part of town. Suddenly, we saw 2 little boy Pits who were looking for food at a gas station. We pulled over and started feeding them. They were soooo hungry but even more scared. To make a long story short: It took us almost 2 hours to catch both of them. We were threatened by crack addicts and prostitutes and this was the first time in my life, that I was actually scared for my life. BUT WE MADE IT! Both doggies, YIN and YA are inseperable and absolutely adorable. As you can see in the pics, they are BEYOND dirty (they are white dogs but look almost gray/black).

Since it was 2 am in the morning, we had no boarding place to take them to (and no money) and we also had our dogs in the car. We took them to one of the lower-kill shelters in LA and put our names on them. Please help us raise the money to pull these guys out and give them the love they need and deserve!

BTW: A man got shot and killed last night (1 night after we rescued them) right next to the gas station, where we first found Yin and Ya...luck (or something bigger) was definitely on our side that night.

Oh, and one more thing...Karma was FOUND and went to her new home today! Someone was smiling on Karma Rescue and all the dogs they take care of this week! So please, help Karma save these two boys! And you should also know that they saved and placed into homes 244 dogs in 2006! TWO HUNDRED AND FOURTY FOUR! Thanks for donating!
