"As all us animal lovers know, all too well, there comes a time when our pets pass over the bridge. We have all felt the sorrow and the pain from losing a family companion, a buddy, our animal. But sometimes we wonder if that sadness is what motivates us to help animals, volunteer our time, rescue dogs, adopt not buy...we think we do this because a fellow animal has touched our heart, shown us the light, shown us there are animals out there that need help. One dog in particular helped Karma Rescue get started....was the drive behind the organization's mission. Perhaps you have read his story on the website, the story of Rufus. His Paw Our Logo. Rufus was that dog, the one that fueled the need for Karma Rescue to begin its journey. Karma's Friend, My Dog Rufus, passed over the bridge on Wednesday.
