I'm giving you a GAS TANK CHALLENGE!  Would you be willing do donate the amount you spend on one tank of gas to support the humane care of animals at Rescue Village? (At least I'm not asking when gas was $4/gallon :) )  I just filled up and it was $45...what was your last fill up?

I started volunteering as a Dog Walker in October of 2008 and I ask myself why I didn't do this sooner!  It has been the most rewarding experience(s) of my life.  The animals at RV get so much love, affection and attention from the volunteers that I rest well at night knowing that they are well taken care of...but a volunteer's time is only the tip of the iceberg in their complete care.  There are vet bills, food costs and shelter bills.  All of these expenses are covered ONLY by donations. 

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.  If you wish do donate offline, just let me know and I will collect from you between now and September 27.

Did you know that Rescue Village helps over 2,000 animals each year through the generosity of people like you?  Here are some facts to know when making your donation:

$25 tests 5 dogs for heartworm

$40 vaccinates 18 cats

$55 provides meals for 100 cats or 50 dogs

$100 tests 15 cats for Felv

$250 vaccinates 60 dogs!!!

$1,000 will spay / neuter 25 shelter animals (no one goes home without being altered)
