The Magee Family Fundraising Page
I want to thank you for visiting our fundraising page. What is the Cade Foundation? The Cade Foundation Inc. is a national non‐profit organization that provides Family Building Grants of up to $10,000 to infertile couples. These grants assist with costs associated with infertility treatment or domestic adoption.
Established in 2005, the Cade Foundation is named for Tinina Cade, the 55-year-old mother who acted as her daughter’s gestational surrogate and delivered her own grandchildren. In honor of her mother’s incredible gift, Dr. Camille Hammond, the former director of cancer survivorship studies at the University of Maryland, began the organization to provide other infertile couples with the funds to help grow their family. The Cade Foundation is the only organization in the nation that provides financial assistance to couples battling infertility. The funds are applied to costs associated with infertility treatments or domestic adoption.
Chris and I are very pleased to support such as great organization because we have struggled with infertility for quite sometime. This is our first year being a part of the race, but will make this a family tradition. Shady Grove has made the dream of having a family a reality for us and we appreciate all the support from our friends, family and the team at Shady Grove in making Zachary a reality.
One in 8 couples are infertile, so there is a good chance you know someone else that has difficulty getting pregnant. You probably know someone or have people close to you that you didn't even realize are having difficulty with infertility or keeping a pregnancy for one reason or the other.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and completely secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
Your support is greatly appreciated by those who are helped through our fundraising efforts. Oh, and since it is a charity, it is a tax write off which is an added bonus!
Again, many thanks for any support you are able to offer-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
