Lori, Sydney and Taylor are participating in a 5k walk/run in August to benefit our favorite charity, Loving Hugs, Inc. We would love for you to join us on August 16th, or sponsor us. Loving Hugs collects new and "gently used" cuddly stuffed animals to send to children in hospitals, orphanages, and refugee camps (IDP Camps) in countries that have been devastated by war, poverty, or natural disasters; to give those children something to hug close and hold onto, bringing them a small bit of comfort during such difficult times.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Loving Hugs, Inc. is excited to be participating in a phenomenal event this year! As the finale to Littleton, Colorado's popular 81st annual Western Welcome Week celebration, the Rotary Clubs of Littleton are creating the largest community non-profit organization support event ever! The TRIBUTE TO GIVING is the post race event for the 3rd Annual Alferd Packer Cannibal Run, a BKB certified event. The Rotary Clubs are asking nonprofit organizations like Loving Hugs, Inc., to be present at the Riverfront Event Center on August 16th, to share their mission and volunteer opportunities.
We are embracing the power of social marketing and inviting everyone to help raise funds. The donations made through special individual web pages to the Littleton Rotary Foundation, a registered 501(c) (3), will be disbursed to the various non-profit organizations represented at the event. Loving Hugs, Inc. is creating a TEAM whose participation and fund-raising efforts through people like you, will be distributed to us through the Littleton Rotary Foundation.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
It is easy! Participate in whatever way you wish by:
· Register to participate as a runner or walker ($25.00) in the 5k or 10K race; create your individual easy web page to raise funds from your friends, contacts, family members, or co-workers to benefit Loving Hugs, Inc. YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUN OR WALK IN THE RACE TO SIGN UP AS A RUNNER/ WALKER PARTICIPANT! You can register for the $25.00 fee, create your own easy web page (included in the $25.00 fee) and send it to your contacts to encourage them to be on your "team" to collect donations for Loving Hugs, Inc.- Or have them form their own team(s) to raise money to benefit Loving Hugs, Inc.!
· Or donate on-line or by check, to Team Loving Hugs;
· Share this web page or your own, once you register to participate in the event, with anyone you think would be interested in running, walking, or supporting us with a donation.

Awards will be presented for the Team who raises the most money for their cause, and the Team with the largest number of participants. It is simple.

Each registered participant will receive a 3rd Annual Alferd Packer Cannibal Run T Shirt. Registrants may choose to run the 5K or 10K with a timing chip, walk the 5K course. Not a runner? No Problem! Join us for the Tribute to Giving.
Although this event isn't until August, anyone interested in running or walking in this event, helping us to raise funds, will want to get it marked on their calendars so as not to miss it, and get started early to help us raise funds; the earlier the better!
