Dear family and friends. An architect, an artist, a firefighter, a graphic designer and a marketing professional....these are not just job titles they are what 5 of my family members did to live their lives and dreams before Huntington's Disease took it from them...My grandmother, Great Uncle, Father, Sister all passed from HD and my lovely brother currently is living with HD.

Many of you know or know of these people in my life and you know that I am the only one of my siblings to not have the HD gene; and therfore not have HD. My interest is that my remaining family and other families with HD can look towards a future of treatment and a cure.  In that regard I devote my free time to supporting HD as the Chapter President her in the DC metro area. For me there is an obvious goal as I have seen and experienced so much pain and suffering in my small family alone.

As a way to raise money to support HD reaserch and care for those with HD; the DC Metro Chapter is holding a "Walk for Hope" on Sunday, November 4th at National Harbor, Maryland.  While I hope that you will register as a walker or participate in the 5k fun run on that day I know for many that is not possible so please consider contributing to the cause through my  Personal Fundraising Page.
