Carcinoid cancer is a rare cancer that has been under the radar of much research. I was diagnosed with this chronic cancer in October 2007 and was devastated to find out that it is a chronic cancer simply because enough research has not been done to find a cure. I am currently cancer-free, but I will spend the rest of my life doing scans watching for it to reappear. I hope I can raise money to help the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation give grants for more research funding. Instead of birthday presents or Christmas presents, please consider donating to this cause instead.
