Hailey Brown's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
My name is Hailey and I will be 1 on September 9th. I share my sweet soul and loving personality by giving my mommy, daddy, and big brother Devin lots of smiles and kisses. I also enjoy snuggling with daddy and laughing at my big brother while he terrorizes the house and drives my mommy bonkers. I love to sit and babble, and like any typical beautiful girl, I love to see myself in the mirror.
This will be our first Buddy Walk and we are excited to participate. We will be using the money we raise at this event to support our other activities throughout the year:
- Valentine's Day Heart Pillows (since so many of our kids have heart issues) that we will donate to the local hospitals' cardiac units. It was so much fun to watch our teens/adults with Down Syndrome be able to do service for someone else.
- Swim party at Northshore-fun in the sun!
- Buddy Walk and the "Let's Get Down and Physical" at WSU
- Christmas Celebration
Buddy Walk contributions were used to start a scholarship partnership with Weber State University and their Teacher Education Program so we can encourage more teachers to go into special education. We donated 2- $500 scholarships!
We also use the money we collect from this event to make "Newborn Baskets" that we deliver to our new families; which includes informational literature and some cute clothing items.
Please plan on attending our event on Saturday, Sept 25th, you can register online at http://www.firstgiving.com/UDSF or at the event - we hope to see you there!
