My grandfather fought this terrible disease for over a decade. After a long hard fight he passed away on June 25, 2012.

My mom has been diagnosed as well, which means my brother and I have a 50% chance of inheriting the disease.

Team Mama Pee is walking in memory of my grandfather and in honor of my mom.

HD has a 50% chance of being inherited from one's parents and there is no cure. It affects everyone in a family, whether on a genetic or emotional level.

Researchers cannot find treatments for this disease without funding, and people cannot advocate for this disease without spreading the word.
