Thanks for stopping by to my fundraising page! I am challenging myself to walk a half marathon and am already in training. It has been awhile since I put this much effort into physical exertion, so pray for me!

I have now worked for World Vision for 3 years (already!) and one of my most memorable moments was meeting Babirye and her sister "Cissy" from Africa. Babirye is HIV positive and her moving story is one of those in the World Vision Experience: AIDS exhibit (www.wvexperience.org). I was blessed to spend a day with Babirye, her sister and Mom when they visited Washington last year. Babirye has a chance at a long and healthy life thanks to the intervention of groups like World Vision. Babirye and Ariadna's stories are just two of the millions of children around the world who can benefit through World Vision when we as Americans generously share the unbelievable resources with which we have been blessed.
