On September 17-18 our basset Zoey, along with hundreds of other basset hounds, will participate in the 2011 Illinois Waddle in Dwight, IL to raise funds for Guardian Angel Basset Rescue (GABR).

We adopted Zoey from GABR, a group of hardworking and fun volunteers who are dedicated to helping bassets in need. Each year Guardian Angel Basset Rescue rescues over 300 basset hounds experiencing abuse, neglect, abandonment or situations of family upheaval such as death, divorce or illness. GABR provides the necessary vet care and loving foster homes to help the dogs find forever homes. GABR is more than a successful rescue and has reached out to help over 50 non-profits to strengthen their fundraising efforts, as well as to profit through partnership in the annual Corvette Raffle.
It’s the kind of group we want to support – that’s why we WADDLE!!
