As many of our friends know, we have been owned by basset hounds for over twenty years now. We currently share our home and our lives with Zoey, our beautiful red and white girl adopted from Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. Zoey was a pet store purchase for a young family who decided that she was too much to handle and gave her to GABR at six months of age. Zoey was one of the lucky ones. Many bassets are mistreated and abandoned before they find their "forever homes."

We are asking you to support Zoey in the 2005 Waddle by making a pledge for her walk down the streets of Dwight, IL on Sunday, September 18th. The Waddle is 10 blocks so a pledge of $1, $2, $5 or more per block would be wonderful. Zoey will be walking in memory of her grandpa, her favorite person to visit in her therapy dog work.
