Zoey Ferrell's Fundraising Page
On September 20th, our basset Zoey, along with hundreds of other basset hounds, will walk in the 12th Annual 2009 Illinois Waddle in Dwight, IL to raise funds for Guardian Angel Basset Rescue (GABR).
We adopted Zoey from GABR, a group of hardworking and fun volunteers who are dedicated to helping bassets in need. Each year Guardian Angel Basset Rescue rescues over 300 Basset Hounds experiencing abuse, neglect, abandonment or situations of family upheaval such as death, divorce or illness. GABR provides the necessary vet care and loving foster homes to help the dogs find forever homes; vet bills alone average over $12,000 per month. GABR is more than a successful rescue and has reached out to help over 50 non-profits to strengthen their fundraising efforts, as well as to profit through partnership in the annual Corvette Raffle.
