The 2012 POLAR PLUNGE at PURDUE is just 5 days away, and I plan to be "freezin' for a reason!"
This great event raises money to benefit SPECIAL OLYMPICS athletes in our area and around the state of Indiana. It's not about the PLUNGE - it's about helping individuals who don't always have the abilities or training opportunites to participate in Olympic-type sports. All you need to do is volunteer at a Special Olympics event one time to see the joy and pride shine in the athletes' faces and realize what a great program this is.
My goal is to be a 2012 SUPER PLUNGER by raising $4000!
It's easy to do. Donate here or send a check to me (made out to Special Olympics Indiana) at 124 Gardenia Drive, West Lafayette, IN 47906. You will receive notice of your donation for your records.
Just 5 more days until the plunge at Purdue, and 17 days until Indy. I just might throw in a 3rd plunge on February 18 if you help me meet my goal!
