Our fundraising page for Team Tanzania Scholar 2011 is on!
For those who are new to Team Tanzania Scholar Award, here is an introduction. Team Tanzania Scholar Award is one of the projects of Maendeleo, an initiative by Tanzanians to improve the quality of life of Tanzanians. Team Tanzania Scholar Award is given to select medical students based on academic merits, and funds are directed toward family contribution portion of student's tuition. Maendeleo believes higher quality of care in Tanzania starts by training highly qualified doctors, and this Award accomplishes that by increasing competition and motivation among medical students.
Team Tanzania Scholar Award has been given successively in 2009 and 2010, all times at Bugando Medical School in Mwanza, Tanzania.
This year 2011, Maendeleo plans to raise $4,000 for this Award. We appreciate in advance your support and contributions. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.
