I am so grateful to everyone who has already donated before and during #chickfest! We are doing so well, I thought we should try to give more for surgery, medicines or special diets for animals like the dogs on this page. That's why I've raised our target to $2000. Thank you all again!

 

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! During #chickfest, I am raising funds for Animal Aid of Boca Raton, Florida, USA.

Animal Aid is a non-profit organization which survives entirely on donations. They are dedicated to the welfare of stray and feral animals. Their no-kill shelter takes in emergency, abuse and neglect cases as well as dogs and cats from various high-kill animal control facilities.

They operates a no-kill shelter in Boca Raton, Forida and a feral cat sanctuary in Naples, FLorida.

My current foster housemate, Java, a sweet and beautiful girl, comes from them. She was dropped off at Animal Control with a note saying "Java, I can't afford to keep you." She had a swollen cheek, thought to be cancer by one vet. Euthanasia was recommended. But Lee at Animal Aid took her for a second opinion and the swelling turned out to be an abscess. This was drained and Java is now recovering.

Please help Animal Aid help more cats and dogs like Java by donating. Every penny helps!
