Monmouth and Rutgers University Field Hockey have teamed up in the fight against cancer. On September 19th, 2010 we will be “Sticking it to cancer” at 1:00pm on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey.
For nearly four decades, the National Foundation for Cancer research has been the driving force behind many of the cancer treatments that are saving lives and making headlines today. Over the years, NFCR has helped millions of cancer patients, and much of this has been possible because of the continued loyal support of individuals, donors, and organizations.
In an effort to raise awareness we have decided to join the NFHCA and the National Foundation for Cancer Research in playing for the cure. The only thing standing between cancer and cure is research funding – and that’s where you come in! We are asking family, friends, and fans to make any contribution to the help further the cause.
