I am making some noise for childhood cancer by walking in our HEROES WALK/RUN for childhood cancer on October 14th. This year, I am walking in honor of my friend and childhood cancer warrior, SHAYLA-- in the photo on the right. Shayla is an incredible kid, who despite being diagnosed with cancer three times, remains a positive influence on all who have the good fortune to meet her.
I started this foundation nearly three years ago when I had cancer and learned that 1 in every 320 kids is diagnosed with cancer but only 3% of the cancer research money goes to kid’s cancer research! We are just $80,000 away from raising our first MILLION DOLLARS for research, and I hope you will help in this mission to raise funds to fight childhood cancer. We’re trying to hit the million dollar mark by September 30th!
Watch my recent video over on the right on this page to see why I started the Make Some Noise Foundation, and see some recent media coverage of the foundation:
ABC 7 in Denver
“Making A Difference” King 5 TV
“New Day Northwest” King 5 Seattle
I hope you will consider making a donation, however large or small, to sponsor my walk in honor of SHAYLA on October 15th-- or better yet, join the fun and “walk” along with us as we march our way to the million dollar mark!!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts and help spread awareness for kids cancer.
Many thanks for your support -- and please don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate or “walk/run” too! It is a great cause and needs our attention!
Thank you very much!
