As most of you know, Big Brothers Big Sisters is a cause that has been close to my heart for many years, because I have seen first hand the positive effect that the program has on children.  Every child who is involved in our program grows from the exposure to new things and a person who has hopes, dreams, and expectations for them.

I also believe in mentoring because I know, without a doubt, that I would not be the person I am today without the positive adults who shaped my life as a child. I want every child to have that. Now that we have our three girls, we strive to give them that, and we know that the more people who love them, the better.
