Tomorrow I will be running my first marathon.  My commitment to train has been fulfilled, I will put my "best foot forward" for the run, but I need your help to meet my fundraising goal. 

My marathon-run is to raise money for the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  In the past decade, my father was diagnosed with macular degeneration disease, the most common cause of severe vision loss in older Americans.  

Doctors at Mass Eye and Ear, like Ivana Kim, M.D., clinician-scientist in the Department of Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School and ophthalmologist at MEEI, are working on finding cures to diseases like macular degeneration.
