Marc Monnar's Race Against Leukemia with SCCA NER!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
The Racing Against Leukemia event was started by a member of SCCA's New England Region (NER) after his daughter, Danielle, was diagnosed and treated for leukemia at UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center. This event is dedicated to raising money to fund ongoing cancer research at the UMass Medical School. Danielle is now a healthy young woman, and her legacy is NER's premiere community service project. Many members have special reasons for participating in this event and we all need your support!
SCCA NER is hosting the 22nd Annual Racing Against Leukemia Weekend (August 6-7) at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH. For more event information, visit http://www.ner.org. If you'd like to see the kind of racing I am participating in, please visit my blog, or my YouTube site. If you like what you see, come on out and join us!
This event is important to me as I have close friends I grew up with that are survivors, who without funding for research, might have not survived. Unfortunately, I have lost family members to different cancers, so I am even more motivated to raising money for the event to help others.
The UMass Memorial Foundation raises funds on behalf of the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care, Inc. To learn more about UMass Memorial, visit the UMass Memorial Foundation web site, call 508-856-5520, or email giving@umassmed.edu.
Thank you for your support! Please forward this page to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
