Save Puppies in Memory of Spirit
Spirit was rescued from the shelter in September 2007. She was a puppy we will never forget. We walked past a kennel packed with unrelated puppies, we could see they were all sick. Little Spirit was there, and seemed to be the sickest puppy. Even though she wasn't a German Shepherd, we simply couldn't leave without her.
We rushed Spirit to our vet in San Diego, but it was too late to save her and she passed away overnight. SCGSR volunteers will never forget Spirit and the heartache her loss brought. The day we rescued Spirit, we also rescued Mia. Mia luckily survived, but cost our rescue $3800. This is why we need your support to save dogs - adoption donations alone don't cover veterinary and other costs to help these beautiful animals find the happy and healthy lives they deserve.
In memory of Spirit, we invite you to join us by making a donation to Southern California German Shepherd Rescue. Help us get to needy dogs like Spirit in time to save their lives. Three months of life isn't enough for any puppy.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. You can also mail your donation to Southern California German Shepherd Rescue, 6161 El Cajon Blvd, #460, San Diego, CA 92115.
Any amount will make a difference but please try to give generously! We really appreciate your donation, and want to express our many thanks for your support.
