It has been over 6 years since Danielle was diagnosed with cancerous brain tumors and by looking at the picture with Dr. Packer, her neurologist from Childrens Hosptial in DC, you would never know how sick she really was.   We are very fortunate that Danielle was able to fight and win, however, there are many others who have not been as fortunate as us.  Since Danielle has been sick, I have been involved in raising money and running a fundraising event for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.  The money we raise is used for research to help find the cure for childhood brain tumors and is also used to support familiies like mine, whose lives have been affected by this disease day after day.  Last year our event raised over $200,000.
