It's that time again and I'm looking for all my supporters to come out strong again in support for the UMass Cancer Walk.  My team, Moma's Train, and I completed the walk in 2008 and 2009.  I took a break for 2 years to complete the 39 mile Avon Breast Cancer Walk but we are back........and we need your help!

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer.  In my immediate family we have been touched by Leukemia, Melanoma, Glioblastoma, Colon cancer, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Breast Cancer.  Some of us, fortunate enough to be in the elite group called "Survivors" but unfortunately there are those who lost their battle and live on in our hearts. 

Moma's Train will be walking again this year. The walk this year is on Sunday, September 23 and is the 14th Annual UMass Cancer Walk.  My team, Moma's Train, will take part in the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk to fundraise and support the ongoing research and clinical trials program at the UMass Medicine Cancer Center of Excellence. My prayer is that advancements and even cures will be accomplished with the help from the fundraising I am part of. Please sponsor me today and help all cancer patients diagnosed with and receiving treatment for cancer.
 

On September 23 we walk in honor of those who have battled cancer and won (LIKE ME!), and help support the research to help others still in their fight. Please be as generous as possible and if your company matches, don't forget to submit the claim. Together we can make a difference!
