Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  I am helping the Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest raise $7000 by the end of June.  CSNW is a wonderful place providing a "forever" home for chimpanzees who have lived for decades in the biomedical industry.  Check out their website www.chimpsanctuarynw.org

I am an artist and am willing to paint a portrait of the chimpanzee of your choice for a donation of $700 to Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest.  (You will also need to pay shipping if you are outside the Seattle area.)  The painting will be in oil on canvas 18"x20" (depending on the canvas shape that best suits the chimpanzee you choose).  I will use a photo from the CSNW blog as reference material for your painting.  I will choose the photograph in consultation with you.   You can see more examples of my work on Flilckr under the name margparkie.   I will keep the copyright on the painting so that CSNW can use the image for other purposes in the future if they want to.  Contact me by email with any questions,  margparkie@comcast.net. 

This offer is on a first come first served basis.  It will take me 1-2 months to complete the painting.  If there is more than one person interested in this offer I will consider doing more than one painting.
