Kayak Iraq II
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!
That's Hala with Joe Boyle at last years Kayak Iraq event. They and people from 6 nations and 5 universities helped raise almost 20% of the ISP Depaul annual budget for Hala.
ISP is a national not-for-profit which connects talented Iraqi students, who's education has been interrupted by the continuing violence in that country, with American universities. There are currently almost 50 students studying in the United States through the efforts of ISP. This year, Hala will be entering her senior year. We are almost there! Want to be part of it? Here's how...
Sign up to kayak on May 19th from 1 to 3PM at the Skokie Lagoons in Winnetka, Illinois. The Nortwest Passage will be there to provide you with training and equipment or you may bring your own. You will use a web site like this one to solicit donations from people who you think will want to support your efforts. Find out more at www.iraqidepaul.org.or call me at (847) 657-6807 and I will walk you through the easy steps to create a page like this one.
If you can't be on hand that day, then make a contribution. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts for Iraqi Student Project.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to help!
