As many of you know, animals have always been a big part of my world.  I have been volunteering with RBARI since March of this year. They are one of the few no-kill shelters in Northern NJ.  The dedication and love they put into each animal is great to see.   Tanya is currently a resident at RBARI and has become one of my favorites.  In the short time that she has been there, she is already starting to come out of her shell and learn that humans aren't so bad.  All due to the love that she is receiving from the staff and volunteers at RBARI.

I am participating in raising funds for RBARI's 5th Annual Mutts Marathon on October 10th from 11-5pm at Ringwood State Park.  The marathon is a fun event for humans and pets alike but if you can't join us on October 10th, please consider donating to my fundraising page.  Even a small amount makes a difference!
