2011 Guardian Angel Basset Rescue Illinois Waddle
The picture was the picture of my worst case as a foster mother, Ollie! He came to me at 29.5 pounds of sad looking dog, but he had a beautiful spirit to live! GABR received Ollie from a shelter in central Illinois and he wasn’t in good shape. When they told me I was to get Ollie has my foster they told be to be prepared because was emaciated so knew going into this he would be in bad shape so I tried to get ready to see him! NOTHING! Can ever truly get ready to see a staving dog? You see then on TV and you turn the channel or your face until the commercial is over! So when I first set my eyes upon him as he walked up to me with his tail waggling and happy to be alive I cried. The nice lady that transported Ollie to me was warned about him and she too cried when she picked him up.
I had Ollie for 2 wonderful weeks and then a very nice man from Indiana saw him on our website called me and adopted Ollie on June 18th. Ollie has had a happily ever after because of Guardian Angel Basset Rescue and he is treated was a king. If this organization hadn’t stepped into Ollie’s life the shelter would have KILL him.
So, I’m pulling on your heart strings now and asking you to help me save homeless, sick basset hound in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin thru Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. Every penny collected go straight to the dog NO ONE GETS PAID except the vet’s which help our dog at a big discount.
PLEASE, make a donation to save other dogs like Ollie find there new homes. The website is totally save and they will not pass your information on to anyplace else.
And we count on you to help and please forward this to all your friends.
Thank you! and God Bless,
Maria,
Arthur, Barney, Paul and especially OLLIE!
