On September 23rd, Arthur, Barney, and I will be walking in the 2007 Illinois Waddle. For me with this bad foot in this black boot will be very hard.  This event is held every year in Dwight, Illinois as a benefit for the Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Inc. Each year, GABR rescues and places over 250 Basset Hounds in the Indiana and Illinois area. Thats how I found my Arthur.  As you can imagine, their vet bills are very large, averaging over $10,000 per month. We've decided to help them raise money to pay those bills.

It truly is a great feeling to find a basset that needs a home.  I had faith that GABR would find him a great home.  This picture was on the web-site for 3 days and someone adopted him.
