This time around I'm going to be combining my fundraising efforts for simplicity sake. In less than a month, October 9th to be exact, I'll be running another marathon. It's a great reason to join forces and ask for donations towards the Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
The other reason is one that is much more exciting. Next February, Laura (remember the one that finally got me to run my first marathon) and I will cross the Andes mountain range from Chile to Argentina. It's a 3-day adventure run that will take us across a snow-covered volcano and through many photo-worthy landscapes. I could give every little detail, but I'll keep it short and if you are interested in learning more you can do so here.
We have also created a blog to discuss our training for this adventure. Click here to read it.
So with these events in mind, I am hoping to raise $1800 that can be used for research in finding a cure for Alzheimer's. I decided to repeat this organization and disease as it truly has a daily impact on my family. Research is making advances daily, but with more funds I know a cure will be found soon. So help out with whatever you can give and we'll fight it together!
Feel free to email me at email@example.com if you have any questions or want to donate offline.
THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!!
