Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I have decided to participate in the MeritCare Roger Maris Cancer Center 61for61 2 mile fun walk on Sat. Sept 26th.  I am receiving awesome care at Roger Maris.  I was diagonosed with lung cancer on June 4th and on June 5th, they already started me with radition treatments.

The staff is wonderful, from the person who greats you at the door to the receptionist, the Chaplin, who at my request, prays over the Chemo medication at every treatment, to the great caring nurses and Doctors.  It's not unusual to receive a hug of encouragement from anyone of them.  I am so fortunate to have such a great facility in the city where I live and I feel very confident in the care provided.

Many thanks to all of you for the many prayers offered up for me daily.  I know that is where my strength and lack of severe side effects is coming from.  God continues to bless me every day and I am believing in His healing.  I will be a cancer survivor!
