Thank you for visiting my Buddy Walk page. 

This will be my third walk and I hope that this year I can walk it all by myself and not sit in my stroller; this year I am not going to try and run away from mommy.  I love doing the Buddy Walk because I get to see many of my friends, dance and we raise money for a great cause.

 

You may ask why we have the Buddy Walk; well, the Buddy Walk helps us:

• Promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
• Raise funds that allow us to help the local Down syndrome community and their families.  In the past several years we have used the funds to help families with camp, sporting activates, medical expenses and education expenses.  We have helped adult persons with Down syndrome with being able to have money for leisure, clothing for job interviews, medical expenses and community involvement.
• Enables us to positively influence local and national policy and practice.

This year I want to raise more money than I have in the past so give give give.
