As I was leaving Kern Shelter yesterday, Mickey was being turned in. He is an emaciated pit bull who was used as a bait dog. He is terribly wounded and needs vet care and love. He was a gentle soul who nuzzled against me and wagged his tail.

Hounds of Hope is raising  money to rescue him. We need donations for vet bills, rehabiliation and training.  All donations are tax deductible!  Please spread the word on this sweet boy.
