I did the walk yesterday, all 2.5 miles! I am happy I was able to walk with the aid of my cain, when I saw some of the walker were in wheelcahirs.  I have had lupus since I was 28 and I am taking the only drug that has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of Lupus which was 50 years ago! I met many different people that had lupus but the one that stood out to me was a 11yr girl who has only had been diangosed 1 year ago. I really hope they find a cure in my lifetime and her's.
