Step Up for Down Syndrome
Accept - Include - Appreciate
Since the very beginning, Kyle Matthew has been a true blessing from God. He has enabled us to appreciate things in life that we once took for granted. This in turn has opened many doors that we may have just walked past before. One of these doors that was opened to us was meeting other families and wonderful friends through the Down Syndrome Society Association of Central California (DSACC). DSACC provides many programs, activities and resources that help families like our own to learn to embrace and appreciate the new journey that lies ahead.
The major fundraising event DSACC has every year is the, "Step Up for Down Syndrome" walk. This one mile walk is the largest Down Syndrome awareness event in the Central Valley, and serves as the primary fundraising event to support our organization's vital programs and services throughout the year.
Our new location at Hoover High School will allow us to stage our event along public streets so that people passing by will be able to witness the thousands who plan to join us this year, to show their support of individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
The day will be a very fun-filled event with live entertainment and performances by Break the Barriers, Diamonds in the Rough, and many FREE activities for the family, including face painting, clowns, bounce houses, and more. I promise you, you will not leave without many hugs from the loving people this event celebrates!
So, if you are available on October 2nd, from 10 to 2, please join us in celebrating the lives of our loved ones with Down Syndrome. If you cannot join us, please consider supporting our organization and the many lives that have been touched by DSACC.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!
