I need you to help me bring about awareness to Huntington's Disease & raise money for research. As Laurie's Mom, it it very heart breaking to watch my daughter struggle with daily living. Laurie had so many hopes & dreams. Laurie loves being a mother & I know it devestates her not to be able to do the things she had dreamed of with her son. Laurie had the world on a string. She knew what she wanted to do in life. Laurie was my right arm, always there for me. HD is a progressive, degenerative brain disorder that does not have a cure. It is genetic. Her Dad had HD. He died at age 57. Laurie's son is  50%  at risk. I see the changes in her from last year. It is becoming more difficult for her to speak, balance herself and walk. She is having other difficulties as well. I advocate on all avenues for HD. As a Mother, I do not have a difficult time begging if I must for my daughter and her life. We must find a cure soon.
