Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
We need your help! This is Petey, a 4-month old pitt pull that we removed from a Detroit drug house after the Wayne County Sheriff Department called for our assistance.
The abandoned home was without electricity, heat and water for months and was used to flip drugs by the local gangs. Infested with feces and urine, Petey was found starving to death in a literal hole in a wall with an older dog (possibly the father) and another puppy the same age.
As disturbing as it is to mention, Petey was so thin that every bone in his small body could be counted and he could hardly stand up.
His eyes and nose had substance draining from them making it hard for him to see and breathe. Upon approach he would cowar - a true sign that he was beaten. Petey was in need of immediate veterinary care. After 10 days in the isolation ward of the hospital, all three dogs are healthier, have been vaccinated and in need of a permanent home. Tail Wagger's USA, however, need to pay for their care and are asking for help.
In an effort to raise money for their unexpected care, we are turning to you, our dedicated supporters and asking for help. We know you give us a tremendous amount of financial support at the yearly Tail Wagger's Bowl, but we are hoping that this Appeal will jump start us in 2010. Emergencies such as this drain our Emergency Assistance fund and animals in your own community are being turned
away due to lack of funding in this program.
As our Organization continues to grow and we establish a name in the community, our goal is to be
able to assist animals when they are in need and support families through these difficult economic times. Check out our NEW website and read more about the other programs that Tail Wagger's USA has established and learn why we are becoming the charity of choice for so many!
Thank you in advance for your generous support!
